Maggi offering free ‘bubur lambuk’ to the needy and frontliners

KUALA LUMPUR – More than 120,000 bowls of Maggi ‘bubur lambuk’ are distributed along with 20,000 Nestle food and beverage packs to B40 families and students and underprivileged communities

In their usual Ramadan tradition, Maggi is providing nourishment for more than 120,000 Malaysians to its savoury rice porridge Maggi ‘bubur lambuk’ as a wholesome meal for buka puasa (breaking of fast).

The activity is part of Nestle Malaysia’s RM15 million contribution towards COVID-19 relief efforts under its Nestle Cares initiative, in line with the company’s commitment to support Malaysians during these challenging times.

This year, more than 120,000 bowls of Maggi ‘bubur lambuk’ are distributed along with 20,000 Nestle food and beverage packs to B40 families and students, underprivileged communities including orphanages and welfare homes.

The meals were also distributed to healthcare practitioners and other frontliners including Polis Di Raja Malaysia and Malaysian Armed Forces, who have been instrumental in the nation’s fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.

Maggi bubur lambuk were distributed to the Armed Forces at the Sungai Besi Camp.
Residents ofPJS 6 Kampung Lindungan Rumah Kos Rendah also enjoyed Maggi’s delicious and wholesome bubur lambuk..
