In conjunction with Malaysia’s 65th Independence Day, KPJ Healthcare Bhd is honouring expectant mothers with its latest Merdeka Maternity 2022 campaign which runs from August 18 to December 31.

Building on the success of the inaugural campaign in 2018, this year KPJ Healthcare is joining hands with renowned local designer Christy Ng, to create a bespoke limited edition KPJ x Christy Ng maternity bag as a complimentary gift for all mothers who give birth at KPJ Hospitals.

The campaign also offers expectant mothers a range of benefits covering delivery, antenatal and postnatal care, with exclusive gifts to take home.

For the six-month period from January to July 2022, a total of 7,440 deliveries have been recorded across KPJ Hospitals nationwide. Meanwhile in 2021, 15,853 deliveries were recorded during the year, an increase of 31.5% from 12,057 deliveries in 2020.

Staying true to its pledge to ‘Care for Life’, KPJ Healthcare’s patriotism is reflected through its empathetic approach towards Malaysians, particularly to ease the burden of expectant mothers leading up to their delivery, by promising peace of mind and individualised services.

KPJ Healthcare president and managing director Dato’ Mohd Shukrie Mohd Salleh said KPJ Healthcare is committed to providing a seamless experience to all expectant mothers.

“We are honoured that expectant parents have chosen and entrusted KPJ Healthcare as their preferred healthcare provider and that we are able to support them throughout their magical journey from pregnancy to motherhood.

“At KPJ Healthcare, we are committed to providing all expectant mothers with a seamless experience. Our experienced medical consultants are supported by a team of dedicated medical professionals, nurses and other staff to deliver personalised care and services,” he said.

KPJ Healthcare also unveiled its National Day-themed video titled ‘The Future of Malaysia’ which delivers a heartfelt message of patriotism, where children are the future builders of the nation.

There are also display booths from KPJ Healthcare’s participating partners such as Neutrovis, Anakku, Poney, Kiddocare and Pigeon, among others, to welcome visitors and expectant mothers during the campaign period. The booths feature infant and children’s clothing, baby products and mother care essentials for parents.
