Miaow Miaow, which means ‘Wonderful’ in Mandarin, began in in Batu Pahat, Johor in 1975 as a family-owned business founded by brothers Chink Poh Cheng and Chuang Poh Lim.
Over the years, the business gradually expanded and went into large scale manufacturing in 1989 with the establishment of Miaow Miaow Food Products Sdn Bhd exporting to overseas markets in the Middle East. Today, Miaow Miaow snacks are enjoyed in more than 40 countries worldwide and the company is looking to expand further to additional markets in Europe, Africa and US this year.
