IslamiCruise International Sdn Bhd has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with appointed Aroya Cruise Link Agents (ACLA), in conjunction with the official launch of the 3 Days 2 Nights (3D2N) AROYA Cruises Package from Port Klang to Langkawi.
With this MoU in place, ACLA agents will act as the official sales link for AROYA Cruises, and will be allocated cabins to promote and sell various packages for Muslim travellers seeking a unique travel experience, halal cruising with no alcohol and gambling, also known as a worry-free cruise from a shariah-compliant perspective.
The launch ceremony was officiated by Deputy Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture Khairul Firdaus Akbar Khan at Hemisfera Luxury Sky Hall, Kuala Lumpur Tower on July 29, 2025.
The 3D2N Muslim-friendly cruise will depart Port Klang on January 30, 2026 and returns on February 1, 2026, offering travellers a chance to experience the unique atmosphere and luxury of Islamic cruising aboard AROYA, in a shorter and more accessible format.
The initiative supports the Visit Malaysia 2026 campaign by the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture and is expected to attract both local and international tourists to explore Malaysia via cruise travel.
The MOU also introduces ACLA agents as part of IslamiCruise International’s effort to make luxury cruising more accessible, with packages starting from RM597.
With limited-time offers like third guest and children under the age of 11 sail for free, AROYA Cruises is set to sail at full capacity.
The AROYA cruise ship is a luxurious vessel operated by AROYA Cruises, a brand under Cruise Saudi, which is part of Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund. It is one of the largest cruise ships sailing in the Middle East, weighs 150,000 gross tons and caters upwards of 3,500 passengers.
