Building on the momentum of the iCAUR 03 launched last Sept, the C-segment iCaur V23 further fortifies the brand’s status as the pioneer of fully electric off-road-capable SUVs.

Positioned as Malaysia’s first fully electric off-road capable SUV, the C-segment model is set to pioneer the adventure BEV category.

Speaking at the launch event, Chery International executive vice president Chen Chun Qing said, “As a key brand of the Chery Automotive Group, iCaur is envisioned under Chery’s “Co-Create, Co-Define,” strategy which signals a major transformation from a traditional automaker into a developer of an intelligent, user-driven mobility ecosystem”.

The iCaur V23 brings iconic design and potent off-road capability reimagined for the electric age.

Meanwhile, Chery Corporate Malaysia executive vice president Men Lin Bo said since its debut iCaur has introduced a fresh dynamic approach to EV mobility combining EV off-road ability with everyday versatility.

“The iCaur V23 will now answer the call of a new generation of drivers, explorers and trendsetters,” he said.

The iCaur V23 pays homage to classic 4×4 icons with an exterior reimagined for the electric age.

The iCAUR V23 is designed to handle challenging terrain and withstand water depths of up to 600 mm, matching bonafide 4×4 SUVs and modern pick-up trucks.

Both variants support 6.6 kW AC charging, while the V23 2WD offers up to 85 kW of DC fast charging capability and 104 kW for V23 iWD.

The iCaur V23’s strong structural foundation is built around a cage-like frame comprising 70% high-strength steel and Battery Management System (BMS) protection. It boasts six airbags and an ADAS Level 2 advanced driver assistance system.
