Hyatt Place Kuala Lumpur, Bukit Jalil has entered into a partnership with Miss CosmoWorld organization to become the official sponsor of Miss CosmoWorld 2023 international beauty pageant to host the pageant finalists during the event from Nov 15 to Dec 4, 2023.
The sponsorship is worth RM340,000 which will provide contestants with hotel accommodation, event spaces and meals.
The hotel will also host several pageant events, including the talent show and press conferences.
The collaboration agreement was signed by Victor Lye Say Kuang, the chief executive officer of Mygres Ceramiche, which owns the hotel, and Miss CosmoWord founder Carrie Lee on October 15, 2023.
The sponsorship signing ceremony was witnessed by Miss CosmoWorld 2023 patron and advisor Tengku Hishammuddin Zaizi, Tourism Malaysia director general Dato’ Dr. Ammar Abd Ghapar and Seputeh MP Teresa Kok Suh Sim.
Victor Lye said the hotel was honoured to host the pageant contestants of this prestigious event.
“As the official partner, our hotel will provide contestants with spacious rooms, sumptuous meals and access to hotel facilities for both training and relaxation.
“We look forward to ensuring their stay is marked with comfort and convenience,” he said.
Carrie Lee said they are excited to be collaborating with Hyatt Place Kuala Lumpur Bukit Jalil as both organizations shared the same commitment to promote tourism, culture and women empowerment.
“The pageant will feature about 30 international contestants who will compete for the coveted crown and USD 100,000 cash prize.
‘We are confident that the hotel will provide an exceptional experience to our finalists and make them feel at home.
“We are also excited to have candidates to be trained here with the best accommodations, hospitality and trainings which will recognize the contestant whom the best represents woman empowerment, woman intelligence,” she said.
Miss CosmoWorld 2023 is the seventh edition of the pageant that aims to promote tourism, culture, and heritage through its ambassadors.
The grand finale will be held on November 29, 2023.
