Hong Kong Cantopop diva Joey Yung will return once again to perform live for her fans at Arena of Stars, Resorts World Genting on November 5, 2022.
Following the postponement of her 2020 LOVE World Tour and the Joey Yung The Tour “Love in Genting” Concert in March 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Yung spent much of her time in China recording and releasing Cantonese and Chinese singles such as “Live in the Moment”, “Gone with the Flare”, “So Fresh” (featuring Dany Lee) and “After All These”; as well as filming a reality series and travel log.
With international concerts now in full swing, the Cantopop diva will make a come-back in Genting with “Love in Resorts World Genting – Joey Yung The Tour Asia” concert that promises to excite and set the Arena of Stars ablaze with the global superstar’s undeniable charm and showmanship.
This is Yung’s 23rd year in the music industry since her debut in 1999 with EP 1 Joey, which yielded the chart-topping song Unknown, a cover of Jennifer Paige’s US hit Crush. The album sold 130,000 copies and stayed on the Hong Kong IFPI Album charts for 23 weeks – a record for a debut artist that still stands till today.
Singing in both Cantonese and Mandarin, Yung has won the IFPI Hong Kong Best Selling Female Singer award seven times, cementing her position as one of Hong Kong’s greatest musical stars.
Her world tours had taken her across the globe to Southeast Asia, Australia, Canada, the USA and the UK, establishing herself as a truly global star.
Guests may bring their previously purchased Joey Yung The Tour “Love in Genting” 2020 concert tickets to the Arena of Stars to exchange for new ones for entry on the day of the concert.
