Hi5 from Taiwan beat out five top Asian teams to emerge as the Asia champion in the Pokémon UNITE Asia Champions League 2023 offline finals held at Battle Arena Malaysia, Jaya Shopping Centre, Petaling Jaya on March 18-19, 2023.
The grand finals saw Hi5 battle it out with TeamMYS to emerge as the best with a score of 3-2 and took home the USD30,000 prize money from a total prize pool of USD60,500.
At second place, TeamMYS from Malaysia won USD15,000.
The Pokémon UNITE Asia Champions League 2023 is a joint effort through Yoodo’s partnership with The Pokémon Company as an initiative to empower young talent and provide them with a competitive platform to showcase their command of the game.
