Heineken recently kicked off its ‘Refresh Your Music, Refresh Your Nights’ campaign with two concerts in Asia by electropop duo, The Chainsmokers.
Four local artistes; namely Yunohoo and NYK from Malaysia, and Thu Minh and Karik from Vietnam, performed alongside The Chainsmokers
5,000 music fans attended the Malaysian concert held at Resorts World Genting on December 9, 2022 where they displayed immense support for both The Chainsmokers and the local artistes’ performances.
Yunohoo kicked off the performance with her own songs like Kaalam, AV and Rani, and rounded off her performance with her rendition of The Chainsmokers’ hit song Don’t Let Me Down, in her own distinctive musical style.
This was followed by NYK who performed several of his songs such as Daylight, Faded and Pretty burn, before he launched into his rendition of The Chainsmokers’ song, Something Just Like This.
Finally, the headliners of the concert, The Chainsmokers, performed many of their hit songs to rousing cheers from music fans.
Heineken brand director (APAC) Rajeev Sathyesh said they had launched the ‘Refresh Your Music, Refresh Your Nights’ campaign to echo Heineken’s belief that life tastes better with an open mind, regardless of social situations or music preferences.
“The fans’ incredible energy and willingness to break out of their music bubbles affirmed our belief that music does transcend all boundaries,” he said.
Apart from Yunohoo and NYK, the concert also featured other performances by local DJs Blink, BATE and Julian.
