Happikiddo, a homegrown baby concept store, hosted Malaysia’s largest baby shower with over 400 expecting and new parents in attendance at Lightbox@Light Grey, Sungai Buloh on May 27, 2023.
Themed ‘Baby inBloom’, the mega baby shower event saw participants from all walks of life comprising expectant mothers and parents with infants aged 0-6 months old came together for a hi-tea, knowledge sharing, games and exclusive deals.
“We are deeply honoured to be given the opportunity to host this Baby Shower for expectant and new parents, and to share their joys in one of the most important chapters of parenting.
“Our aim was to celebrate them and the beautiful wonders of welcoming their bundle of joy, and we are thrilled to have succeeded in giving them a lovely day to remember,” said Happikiddo founder Elaine Chew.
Besides product demonstrations, special discounts and deals on baby products, participants also took home valuable parenting tips and knowledge through informative sharing sessions by celebrity mums and entrepreneurs Neelofa and Intan Salleh, as well as the opportunity to win lucky draw prizes.
The event also provided door gifts and lucky draw prizes worth over RM80,000 to attendees.
Also featured were various product booths of local and international brands, including Atelier Choux, Bugaboo, Cybex, Jellycat, Nuna and Stokke, showcasing their offerings.
Attendees were also given a sneak preview and test-stroll of Bugaboo Dragonfly stroller, a futuristic and eco-friendly stroller by Dutch brand, Bugaboo, which is expected to be launched in Southeast Asia soon.
