Freshable partners with The Hope Branch to provide meals for underprivileged community

Freshable’s dedicated team and volunteers from The Hope Branch came together to help distribute meals to the underprivileged community at Pusat Gelandangan Medan Tuanku, Kuala Lumpur on May 25, 2023.

Freshable, the Malaysia meal kit company, in partnership with The Hope Branch, an NGO, donated 150 packs of meals for the homeless through Pusat Gelandangan Medan Tuanku, Kuala Lumpur on May 25, 2023.

The community initiative offering meal meals is part of Freshable’s commitment to corporate responsibility and creating a positive impact in the community.

“We are honoured to have the opportunity to extend our support to the underprivileged community at the centre.

“We believe that everyone deserves to have warm, delicious, and nutritious meals which is why we reached out to The Hope Branch to collaborate on this project.

“We’re happy this has been such a success and we hope to undertake more impactful projects in the future,” said Freshable co-founder and chief executive officer Adeline Tang.

Tang said each pack of food offered a balanced meal with carbohydrates, protein and fibre to ensure the recipients had nourishing meals that contribute to their health and well-being.

Freshable’s dedicated team and The Hope Branch volunteers, with bright smiles and a strong determination, came together and energetically distributed food to the long line of homeless people and those from the B40 community who lined up patiently at the service centre for the fresh and nutritious meals by Freshable.
