Canon Marketing Malaysia is conducting a free camera and lens checkup for Canon users nationwide throughout the months from October to December 2022, in conjunction with its year-long 35th anniversary celebrations.
In a statement, the company said shutterbugs who own Canon cameras can now look forward to servicing their camera for shutter count, firmware update, external cleaning and sensor cleaning without any cost.
“Over the years, Canon is proud to be recognized in Malaysia as a leading brand in digital imaging that includes cameras, and is committed to delighting its customers through excellence across all aspects of products and services to both corporate and consumer sectors,” the statement said.
“Aligned with our Kyoseiphilosophy, we centre our services around the passion of our camera users in mind. Canon’s tagline of ‘Delighting You Always’ has been our aspiration to develop a greater level of product engagement with our end users by continuously listening to consumer needs.
“Canon aims to continually elevate the B2C market not just through producing diverse products, but through services that can meet consumers at every life stage,” Canon Marketing Malaysia image communications business division director Malaysia Hunter Zhang said in the statement.
Canon enthusiasts seeking to upgrade their camera are encouraged to visit the Check-up locations to know more about the discount voucher that is up for grabs.
The company is currently conducting its first Camera and Lens Check-Up at Canon headquarters in Shah Alam until October 14; and will be making its second stop at Canon’s Kota Kinabalu branch on October 19-20. It will conclude its final event in Kuching on December 1-2, 2022.
