Fahrenheit88 shopping mall in Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur has launched its ‘Artistry Deepavali’ campaign, celebrating the rich tapestry of local talents with Malaysia’s only Peacock Sand Sculpture Kolam.
This year, Deepavali will be celebrated on Nov 12, 2023. From now until Nov 12, 2023, the mall has an array of cultural experiences, artistry activities and exclusive shopping adventures.
The focal point of ‘Artistry Deepavali’ is the breathtaking Peacock Sand Sculpture Kolam, a creation by Malaysia’s eminent sand sculptor, Ikhwan Saloot, hailing from Penang.
This beautiful work of art was crafted over seven days using more than three tonnes of sand, and measures 10 feet in length, 10 feet in width, and rises to a height of 6 feet, and is one of the most recognisable artforms and tradition associated with the festival of lights.
For shoppers, they can indulge in a shopping adventure at the Deepavali Market at the main atrium, ground floor, with curated stalls brimming with an array of exceptional Deepavali-related products.
There will be captivating dance performances by Arts Talent Production on Nov 4 and 12 at 11am and 3pm. On Oct 29 from 2pm to 3.30pm, shoppers can partake in a Candle Holder workshop, adding a personal touch to their festive décor. On Nov 4 from 2pm to 3pm, shoppers can unleash their creativity in a Henna workshop.
The Uniqlo Fahrenheith88 store is reopening on Nov 9, with a fresh new look, increased space and new services, following five months of extensive renovation work. Alongside its renowned apparel collections, a new service is the Uniqlo Coffee, which is a first in Malaysia, offering both takeout and dine-in options and features Uniqlo’s exclusive coffee blend.
Shoppers who spend RM200 in a single receipt can redeem a limited-edition scarf by Figure as Deepavali rewards.
