Emerial Loo, 34, a mother of two, was crowned Mrs Malaysia Universe 2024.
She beat nine other contestants to win the crown at the pageant final held at HGH Convention Centre, Sentul, Kuala Lumpur on July 6.
She was crowned by last year’s winner Mrs Malaysia Universe 2023 Sharon Liew.
Emerial or Eme as she liked herself to be called, also nabbed five subsidiary titles, Best Costume, Best Skin, Most Popular, Best Talent and Best Body.
A life planner at AIA, Eme loves travelling, freediving and playing golf.
In the Mrs Elite category, Ivy Yap, 46, an Airbnb host and mom-of-two from Puchong, Selangor won the champion title.
She also picked up three subsidiary titles, Miss Photogenic, Best Fitness and Best Talent.
Last year’s winner Mrs Elite Malaysia Universe 2023 Mango Maria Tay crowned Ivy Yap as her successor.
A fitness enthusiast, Yap loves doing workout and her interests include singing and snowboarding.
The Mrs Malaysia Universe competition was for married women aged 40 and below, while the Mrs Elite Malaysia Universe was for those aged above 40.
The oldest participants Jeralene Louis from Malacca and Susan Low from Kuala Lumpur, both aged 58, took to the stage with bright smiles and confident strides.
“It is a prestigious opportunity for us to host this pageant to recognise women empowerment and their contributions,” said organiser Yinzi Event & Marketing director and Mrs Universe Malaysia 2024 national director Madam Lim Siew Cheng.
The winners were selected by a panel of judges consisting of industry experts and distinguished professionals.
