edotco Group won two awards at the Sustainable Business Awards Malaysia 2020/21, coming out as a Winner in the Workforce category and Significant Achievement in the Energy Management category, in recognition of the group’s outstanding and continuous commitment in the sustainability pillars.
edotco Group chief executive officer Adlan Tajudin said the recognition validates the group’s commitment to best environmental, social and governance (ESG) practices that are aligned to the United Nations sustainable development goals.

As the first telecommunications company in Malaysia to become a signatory member of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), the company embedded the 10 Principles on Human Rights, Labour, Environment and Anti-Corruption into its strategies, policies, procedure and culture.

The 2020/21 Malaysia Awards was held virtually on September 23, 2021 with the presence of Dato’ Sri Mustapa Mohamed, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department for Economic Affairs.
Organized by Global Initiatives, the Sustainable Business Awards (SBA) winners are comprehensively assessed based on a scoring framework co-developed with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), followed by a National Advisory Panel (NAP) evaluation. The Awards recognizes leadership in corporate sustainability across 12 categories, including sustainability strategy, community, energy and water management, supply chain, and ethics.
