A 55-year-old e-hailing driver from Sarawak won the RM19 million Toto 4D Jackpot 1 on July 19, 2025 by betting on on the registration numbers of his vehicles.
STM Lottery Sdn Bhd said in its statement that the lucky winner had been a loyal Sports Toto player for many years and this was the first time he had won a lottery.
“When I came home on Saturday night after ending my drive, I sat in the car and checked my Toto tickets.
“When I saw the first 4D number matched the second prize, my heart was racing and then when I saw my other 4D number matched the first prize, I screamed in my car as I realised that I have won the jackpot,” said the winner.
The pair of winning numbers – “6570” and “7068” were the vehicle registration numbers of his motorcycle and the first car he owned.
He said he frequently bet on the car number of his old car due to sentimental value.
He bought a System 3 ticket which won him a whopping RM19,018,092.30 and a further RM336 as a System Play bonus.
He said he would continue working as an e-hailing driver and share the winnings with his wife, children and siblings, and to start investing to ensure sustainable wealth generation.
