Julia Tan is no stranger to the Miss World Cup Malaysia Pageant. She started her career in event management in 2013, and with her background in organizing events and people, she created and organized the Miss World Cup Malaysia pageant in 2014.
“It was a lot of hard work as well as cooperation and support from sponsors, partners and individuals that had gone into pulling off the successful first Miss World Cup Malaysia,” she said.
Her passion as event organizer started after gaining experience and learning from her former mentor Jason Hee, the founder and president of Miss Malaysia Kebaya (MMK).
She had held important roles, such as national director, sponsorship director and PA to MMK president from 2013 to 2014.
In 2014, Julia established her own event company, Le Vibe Events to promote nature via photography competitions. From 2015 to 2016, she went to China to venture into art production and fine arts.
Upon her return to Malaysia, she started an art-related business and production and is perfectly content running a successful business.
Seeing 2022 being the year of World Cup, Julia decided to bring back the charm of Miss World Cup Malaysia after a long dry spell of eight years.
“I welcome more sponsors and contestants to make this event more happening.”
