Cuckoo International, in collaboration with KidZania Kuala Lumpur, hosted ‘A Trip to KidZania’ to bring smiles to children, under the Cuckoo Loves, Cares Project.
The program offered 107 underprivileged children aged 4-18 from five charitable homes across the Klang Valley a memorable day of exploration, learning and fun.
The five organisations are Pertubuhan Kebajikan Anak Yatim Mary Kuala Lumpur, Yayasan Sunbeams Home, Persatuan Rumah KIDS, Rumah Kasih Nurul Hasanah and Pusat Jagaan Beribuan Kasih.
The initiative is driven by Cuckoo International’s ongoing commitment to empower communities from all walks of life and support underprivileged communities, aligning with the fourth United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal (UNSDG) which aims to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and lifelong learning opportunities for all.

Cuckoo International executive director and CEO Hoe Kian Choon said, “KidZania’s themes and concepts resonate deeply with Cuckoo’s #SAMASAMA spirit, which focus on empowering the next generation through impactful and meaningful activities.
“At Cuckoo International, we believe in creating a ripple of positivity, especially for children, who are the future of our community.
“More than just a day of fun, A Trip to KidZania is also an opportunity to spark curiousity, interest to learn and inspire these young minds to dream bigger.
“Through this initiative, we also hope to give these children a sense of belief that they, too, can achieve great things in life.”

Accompanied by their caretakers and Cuckoo volunteers, the children embarked on an exciting journey at KidZania, filled with role-playing activities that imparted essential life skills in a fun and engaging outlet.
The day included a visit to the Cuckoo Experience Centre, where children enjoyed engaging in fun, educational and immersive activities across the Water Filtration Lab, Healthy Home Space and Cooking Demo Studio at the centre.

“Through this initiative with KidZania, we are also nurturing our Beyond Standards philosophy to life but also empowering our team to embody the true spirit of care and giving.
“Our volunteers play a crucial role in creating meaningful connections with the children, making this more than just an event. It’s a shared experience of compassion, learning, and hope between Cuckoo International and the community.
“With the Cuckoo Loves, Cares Project, Cuckoo International continues its mission to go beyond products, creating opportunities to uplift communities, one meaningful step at a time,” Hoe added.

Cuckoo Loves, Cares Project is a long-term initiative aimed at creating a positive impact through various community and social initiatives.
