Claire Organics: Empowering youth with environmental education

Claire Organics, an industry leader in local natural handcrafted skincare brands, recently hosted a CSR event at Free Tree Society in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur, focusing on environmental education and hands-on experiences for youth.

The initiative is part of Claire Organics’ ongoing commitment to sustainability and community engagement.

Claire Organics invited orphans from Yayasan Sunbeams Home to participate in the program, offering them a valuable opportunity to connect with nature and learn essential lessons about protecting the Earth.

The event featured sustainable solutions talks by experts from Free Tree Society, on key topics such as biodiversity, water, waste and climate change.

Participants also took part in a planting demonstration and gardening workshop, nursery maintenance, and had the opportunity to choose a free tree to take home.

Claire Organics paid for the registration fee by donation to Free Tree Society, supporting the organization’s mission to promote environmental stewardship through tree planting and conservation efforts.

Louise Chu, founder of Claire Organics, said, “We believe in creating meaningful experiences that inspire the next generation to love and protect the environment. By connecting with nature, these young minds can develop a deeper understanding of the importance of sustainability and the role each of us plays in preserving our planet.”

The CSR event highlighted Claire Organics’ dedication to fostering a greener future and empowering communities through education and action.
