Some 20 underprivileged children and their guardians from House of Joy, Puchong were treated to a delightful evening filled with jolly musicals hosted by the Curve shopping mall as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) in conjunction with the coming Christmas festive season.

The event took place on Dec 8 where Santa Claus along with his little pixies greeted the special guests as they arrived at the mall’s centre court for the evening’s entertainment of a specially choreographed musical dance performance entitled “A Christmas Encounter Musical”.

The performers, especially the colourfully-dressed gnomes, thrilled the young ones with their cheerful songs and dance moves, keeping the kids entertained the whole time.

“Christmas has always been seen as a time of joy and we wanted to spread a little of that happiness to those less fortunate than us. It has been a delight having the children from House of Joy, Puchong here with us and we genuinely hope this Christmas celebration will be engraved on their hearts as a fond memory,” said the Curve centre manager Jazmi Kamarudin.

After the musical, the children showed off their artistic flair and sense of creativity by trying their hands on decorating the mini Christmas trees.

The evening ended with every child receiving a goody bag filled with gifts from sponsors who included RB Zicon, Earth Care Soap, Famous Amos, Magnifique and the Curve, and treated to a dinner sponsored by SimplyD.

On the whole, it was a fun and memorable evening for the invited guests.
