Love is in the air and The Marini’s Group is offering romantic dining options for those planning their memorable Valentine’s Day evening. The group has created special prix fixe menus for Feb 14 for Marini’s on 57, Marble 8, Maristar and M Marini Caffè & Terrazza.
Marini’s on 57
Marini’s on 57, which towers 267m above sea level in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, offers a vantage point of city sights and lights. Enjoy the view and fine contemporary Italian cuisine while taking in the romantic ambience.
Dinner opens with the Michelin Select restaurant’s signature Scrambled Eggs with parmesan cheese foam and black truffle shavings, followed by a trio of starters comprising Gallagher oysterwith lemon caviar, king crab salad and pan-seared foie gras with brioche bread and sweet and sour berry sauce.
The pasta is a delicious Raviolone with a harmonious combination of ricotta cheese, prawn and Scottish smoked salmon stuffing in homemade pasta, served with butter thyme sauce, balsamic reduction and gold flakes.
For the main course, the options are a Wagyu Tenderloin Score 9 with black truffle sauce, Hasselback potatoes, mushroom and bone marrow timbale and green asparagus, Roasted Lamb Rack with pistachio crust, rosemary jus, carrot ginger puree and fried kale, or Roasted Tasmania Ocean Trout with cauliflower puree, beetroot mash, and Beluga white butter sauce.
The pre-dessert of a Truffle Taleggio with toasted sourdough bread and pear jam is the prelude to the swoon-worthy dessert, Dolce di San Valentino that marks the end of the dinner. This Raspberry Rose Mousse is an edible rose with a hidden surprise of textures and layers of flavours, including champagne rose lychee jelly and white chocolate whipped ganache.

Marble 8
Savour exquisite flavours in an elegant setting accompanied by an panoramic view of the city at Marble 8. This Michelin Select premier steakhouse has a five-course dinner for the night’s celebration of love.
Dinner begins with an Amuse Bouche Trio of a mini Japanese Wagyu Burger, Cured Red Snapper and Strawberry Taco, and crunchy Raclette Truffle Buñuelo. Next up is the Seafood Duo starter which pairs poached lobster and cuttlefish with zucchini emulsion, oyster mayo, edamame and salmon roe.
Following that is the Beetroot Risotto, which is a delicious combination Carnaroli rice with beetroot in 2 textures, mascarpone pecorino cheese cream, crystalised basil and pistachio.
For the main course, guests can choose between a hearty Grilled Wagyu Tenderloin M9 with smoked eggplant purée, cherry tomato confit, potato fondant and truffle jus, or the delicate Ocean Trout with carrot purée, spinach and preserved lemon sauce and shitake salad.
Marble 8’s sweet ending to the evening is a fitting tribute to love – a sweet heart that is an indulgent Raspberry Tiramisu. This special twist on the traditional Italian dessert pairs mascarpone raspberry mousse and raspberry compote with Grand Marnier coffee, coffee sponge and chocolate shavings. To sweeten the evening further, guests will also be served house-made Pralines.

Maristar
If you’re looking for a venue with a vibe to dine at in the Bukit Bintang area, Maristar offers both tasty Italian cuisine and a place to party the night away this Valentine’s Day. The Valentine’s Day menu starts off with an Impanato amuse bouche followed by the starter, a King Tiger Prawn Salad with the bright flavours of lemon zest and tomato confit, basil and truffle mayonnaise, red pickled onions and sliced green apple.
Next is an earthy-flavoured house-made Porcini Ravioli, served with creamy spinach sauce and truffle oil, followed by the main dish of the evening. Guests can opt for a hearty Wagyu Beef Cheek that is braised and served with truffle mashed potatoes and vegetables, or the lighter Salmon Trout, carefully pan-seared and accompanied with roasted mini potatoes, marinated cherry tomatoes and béarnaise sauce.
For dessert, they have the eye-catching Torta Di Formaggio Alle Fragole – a strawberry cheese cake with a Valentine’ Day twist.

M Marini Grand Caffè & Terrazza
Celebrate love and the good life at M Marini Grand Caffè & Terrazza on 14 February. Malaysia’s first Champagne and Caviar Caffè is known for its sophisticated offerings and guests will be able to indulge in special dishes created just for that special day.
The five-course Valentine’s Day dinner menu sees the Impanato amuse bouche being served to whet the appetite. The next dish is a Tiger Prawn Salad. This refreshing appetiser has slices of tiger prawn paired with the bright flavours of lemon zest and tomato confit, basil and truffle mayonnaise, red pickled onions and sliced green apple.

The sweet treat for the evening is the Torta Di Formaggio Alle Fragole, a delectable strawberry cheese cake, served with gelato.
