Celebrate 150 years of good times with Heineken

Heineken is celebrating 150 years of good times with consumers, honouring their unforgettable moments of happiness and camaraderie.

To mark the momentous occasion of its 150th birthday, the brand has partnered with local pop culture icons Good Vibes Festival, fashion label Motherchuckers and film lab Darkroom8 to blend global inspirations into local experiences to bring extraordinary activations and limited-edition merchandise this year.

Whether it’s drinking Heineken over ice or unintentionally misspelling our brand’s name in the most creative of ways, Heineken has become a global icon, bringing us all together one way or another,” said Heineken Malaysia marketing director Willemijn Sneep.

For the past 10 years, Heineken has had a constant presence at Good Vibes Festival, a music festival synonymous with good times.

Kicking off its series of good times collaborations in Malaysia, Heineken is offering consumers an unforgettable experience in embracing good times with the brand at Starclub @ Good Vibes Festival from July 21-23, 2023, featuring diverse music themes from around the world.

Heineken brings a global lineup curated by renowned Malaysian DJ Blink, known for his international success.

On Friday July 21, Nakadia will transport consumers to the energetic ‘Berlin Techno’ scene, while DJ Irwan brings scorching ‘NYC Hip Hop’ vibes on Saturday July 22.

Don’t miss Jay Hardway on Sunday July 23, who will deliver that explosive ‘Amsterdam Big Room’ sound.

Joining them throughout the festival are Malaysian DJs, the legendary duo Lapsap, DJ and fashion influencer extraordinaire Ashley Lau who will spin alongside TikTok DJ sensation Jovynn and many more acts.

Other exciting activations at Starclub @ Good Vibes Festival will see content creator Jane Chuck with her fashion label Motherchuckers unveils an exclusive Heineken 150 x Motherchuckers limited-edition collection.

While Darkroom8 will introduce limited-edition Heineken 150 x Darkroom8 reusable film camera accompanied by a special beer filter to capture the spirit of good times.

Heineken is giving out 100 pairs of 3-day passes to this year’s Good Vibes Festival and 10 pairs of tickets to an international music festival in 2024 as prizes in a nationwide contest starting June 1 to July 15.

Contest participants need to purchase Heineken from participating outlets or buy it online from Drinkies.com and submit their contest entry.
