BYD Sime Motors, the official distributor of BYD cars in Malaysia, has unveiled the BYD Seal 6 EV, marking the model’s first international debut right here in Malaysia.
The new sedan Seal 6 EV is available in two variants – Dynamic and Premium. The Dynamic variant is priced at M100,000, while it is RM115,800 for the Premium variant.
Three colours are offered Arctic White, Misty Blue and Harbour Grey. Available interior colours are Black and Grey for both Dynamic and Premium variants.
With the dimensions of 4,720 mm in length, 1,860 mm in width, and 1,495 mm in height, the BYD Seal 6 EV has a seating capacity of five and a battery capacity of 56.64 kWh.
Both the Dynamic and Premium are equipped with a rear-wheel drive (RWD) and have the same NEDC-rated range of 485km.
The Seal 6 EV Premium is powered by a 160kW motor that produces 330Nm of torque. It can go from 0 to 100km/h in 7.5 seconds with three driving modes, and a top speed of 180km/h.
Meanwhile the Seal 6 EV Dynamic features a 95kW motor with 220Nm of torque. This variant comes with a 0 to 100km/h timing of 10.9 seconds, and a top speed of 160km/h.
Both Seal 6 EV Premium and Dynamic come with six years or 150,000 km vehicle warranty; eight years or 160,000 km drive unit warranty; and eight years or 160,000 km high-voltage blade battery warranty.
