BYD launches three 3S centres in Klang Valley

The official launch of BYD 3S centre Ara Damansara.

Sime Darby Motors has announced the launch of three BYD 3S centres (centres which offers sales, service and spare parts) in the Klang Valley – Ara Damansara, Glenmarie and Cheras.

The centres aim to provide good accessibility, convenience and top-notch sales and aftersales services for BYD customers within the Klang Valley area.

Sime Darby Motors is the official exclusive distributor of China’s BYD passenger electric vehicles (EVs) in Malaysia.

Sime Darby Motors’ subsidiary, Sime Darby Beyond Auto (SDBA), has developed BYD’s 3S centre in Ara Damansara costing RM11 million.

The centre sits on about 19,375 square-foot built-up area and is equipped with the latest facilities and retail concept complying with BYD’s brand identity.

The facility includes a total of four service working bays with the capacity to service up to 270 units of vehicle per month, with a total of 48 employees supporting the facility.

The BYD 3S centre in Glenmarie is managed by BYD Sisma Auto. The 21,527 sq ft facility has a showroom that can display up to nine vehicles and a service area equipped with 10 service work bays.

The third BYD 3S centre in Cheras is run by Millenium Autobeyond. The 21,323 sq ft facility has the capacity to display up to four cars and is equipped with five service work bays.

By the end of 2023, SDBA expects to further grow its dealer network across the country by building more BYD showrooms to cater to the increasing demands and consumer needs especially in the northern and southern region of Malaysia.
