According to a statement by Ayam Brand, the saturated fat found in coconut milk is beneficial when consumed in moderation with a healthy diet,

“It consists of lauric acid and medium chain fatty acid (MCT) which makes it easier for the body to metabolize, compared to long chain fatty acid.

“The body will break down the coconut milk fat into monolaurin, a compound with antiviral and antibacterial properties, a reliable resource for the body’s immune system,” the statement said.

It also said, “Coconut fat provides the body with nutrients and energy while promoting the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E and K) and minerals (calcium, magnesium, and iron).

Ayam Brand products are available at local provision stores and supermarkets nationwide, and Ayam Brand official stores on Shopee and Lazada.
