Ayam Brand and Sunway XFarms empower children with nutrition and real-world learning

Ayam Brand, in collaboration with Sunway Xfarms, brought together 60 underprivileged children for a day of experiential learning centred on healthy eating, sustainable farming and interactive fun.

The one-day event on Sept 23, 2025 at Sunway Xfarms in Bandar Sunway, Subang Jaya gave children an immersive experience that links nutrition and healthy-eating with real-world farming practices.

Ayam Brand head of marketing Teoh Wei Ling said nutrition and education must go hand-in-hand to create meaningful change.

“Through #AyamBersamaMu we empower children to understand healthy eating while also addressing immediate food needs in communities, we are building a stronger foundation for the future,” she said.

Meanwhile, Sunway XFarms chief executive officer Afdhal Nayan said the partnership with Ayam Brand showed that collaborative synergies can create a greater impact.

“By combining nutrition with sustainable urban farming, we hope to inspire children with practical knowledge while ensuring communities have access to nutritious meals,” he said.

Nutritionist Nurul Syamilah shares importance and tips on healthy eating and nutrition with the children.

Activities included an engaging “Suku Suku Separuh” nutrition sharing session featuring Ayam Brand products, a hydroponics farming workshop using Ayam Brand cans, and a tour of Sunway XFarms’ greenhouse facilities.

These activities were designed to build awareness of healthier food choices among the younger generation, while reinforcing the importance of sustainable living in everyday life.

The day concluded with a wholesome “Farm-to-Fork” lunch, where children enjoyed meals prepared with Ayam Brand products and fresh produce of vegetables from the farm.

Children were introduced to hydroponic farming during their tour of Sunway XFarms’ greenhouse facilities.

The #AyamBersamaMu is part of Ayam Brand’s ongoing nationwide CSR programme to make nutritious food accessible to those who need it most.

The initiative reflects Ayam Brand’s vision of making nutritious food accessible while nurturing healthier and more knowledgeable generations.

At the same time, the initiative extends its reach to over 1,000 underprivileged individuals nationwide through the distribution of nutritious food aid.
