Art of Speed 2024 to take place at MAEPS, July 27-28

Malaysia’s most anticipated event among custom and classics community, featuring arts and automotive lifestyle, returns in 2024 with a larger scale and more fun-filled activities and exhibitions.

The Art of Speed 2024 will take place this July 27-28 at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park, Serdang (MAEPS), with a 452,084 square feet indoor space and 8.6 acres of outdoor space.

This year’s AOS also celebrates with the theme ‘love no hate, solidarity without borders’ and will be collaborating with Selangor FC (SFC) in support of SFC on-going campaign; “Stop the Violence” crossing over from football to automotive lifestyle.

The AOS 2024 features guests from the international custom community, such as Shige Suganuma, Shinotsuka “NATQQ” Michihisa and Hey Murakamii from MOONEYES Japan; professional Japanese drifter Daigo Saito; Katie’s Customs from Japan, featuring a custom Vincent Black Shadow bike; custom car fabricator Nigel Petrie from Engineered To Slide, Australia; Spinny from Thailand – Best European Custom Bike winner at Bangkok Hot Rod Show 2024; Mow from Australia; Choppajoop from Singapore and Hisa Artes 66 Paintlab from Indonesia, among others.

“We are blessed to have been able to host Art of Speed Malaysia for 13 years, not only for realizing a dream but also to stay true to the original ambition of an event that gathers fans and enthusiasts under one roof to celebrate everything related to art, lifestyle, culture and motoring,” said Asep Ahmad Iskandar, founder and festival director of Art of Speed Malaysia.

To sum it up, Art of Speed is for everyone; always has and always will be.”

AOS 2024 offers new features such as:

  • SoundCircus Takeover – No longer an outdoor festival, this year’s SoundCircus is taking over Hall A, MAEPS. Music lovers be prepared to rock indoors with bands like Spider, Gerhana Ska Cinta, Salam Musik, Jemson X Forcesparkbois, Slatan and 53 Universe. The music concert will run from 2pm to 8.30 pm on both days.
  • Community Moto4sale – For buying and selling motorcycles below 500cc.

Additional AOS 2024 activities include:

  • 2nd Official Hot Wheels Collectors Convention Malaysia – The Hot Wheels Collectors Convention returns with its second edition at Hall C, MAEPS. Hot Wheels enthusiasts will be able to experience various activities including Rare and Collectibles Exhibition, Swap Buy and Sell, Custom Competition and collector sharing sessions.
  • AOS Invitational Build-Off – AOS Invitational Build-Off returns featuring 10 bike builders vying for cash prize and a chance to have their custom vehicle shipped to Japan for the 32nd Yokohama Hot Rod Custom Show 2024. This year builders selected are Abah & Sons (Padin Musa), Nodie Cycles. Acid Welding, Zuhalfast, RGF, Flying Loser, Chaos Customs, FNG Works and Son of Abdul.
  • ThunderCircus “Brotherhood Rally” – A fully dedicated open area for motorcycle riders and enthusiasts, attracting a gathering of various motorcycle makers and brand communities. Highlights for ThunderCircus include a mega ride-in and motorcycle groups from across Malaysia and around the region.
  • NEAT Fest – A collective display of highly curated modified cars from across Malaysia. The cars featured will be some of the tastefully modified from local, Japanese, European and supercars categories.
  • Show & Shine – Show & Shine returns in Hall A, featuring the best selection of modified cars and custom motorcycles with an opportunity for Best of Show to win a trip to the 32nd Annual Yokohama Hot Rod Custom Show to be held in Dec 2024.
  • Roda Rumble 2024 – a Two Wheels Gathering & Outdoor Festival
  • Kustom & Koffee Talk – Christopher Ng from Motoqar will be this year’s host, together with overseas panelists. The forum will discuss the latest trends in the bike and car industries.
  • Test Ride Bikes Zone – A test ride zone for motorcycles and bikes, including brands like Royal Enfield, Vespa, Aprilia, Triumph, Lambretta and Harley-Davidson.

  • Product launches
  • Off The Grid – There will be plenty of exhibits along with local and international brands to look forward to.
  • Hail Vintage and Streetware Con – Featuring thrift and streetwear fashion galore. A special feature this year is the Backdoor Soundsystem Collective for entertainment.
  • La Cultura – Malaysia’s Chicano Culture Appreciation Gathering, which includes a fashion display of Cholo and Chicano style, dance and DJ show.
  • Food Park – An outdoor street food vendors and food trucks for any kind of cuisine.

This year’s lucky draw is a special collaboration between AOS and QARTEL TV. One lucky ticket holder will win a modified Honda car in the lucky draw on July 28.

Weekend passes for AOS 2024 are available at the door and online for RM35.00. Children under 12 years old and OKU pass holders enter for free.
