AniManGaki, the annual animation, comics and gaming convention, announced talented manga artist & illustrator Miwa Shirow as the fourth special guest to their guest list, including Vtuber Dokibird, anisong singer & Lolita model Luna Haruna, and idol group JKT48 for their August event.
AniManGaki 2024 (AMG2024) will be taking place at The Mines International Exhibition & Convention Centre (MIECC) in Seri Kembangan, Selangor from August 23-25.
Miwa Shirow is a manga artist and illustrator born from the Toyama prefecture, Japan. He made his debut in the year 1999 with “Black Mind” in Shueisha’s Ultra Jump magazine.
Boasting a rich range and variety of creations, from his representative works; Dogs: Stray Dogs Howling in the Dark, Dogs: Bullets & Carnage, RWBY, to the titles he created character designs and illustrations for; anime: Joker Game, Kiznaiver, games: 7th Dragon 2020, 7th Dragon 2020-II, 7th Dragon III Code: VFD, Soul Hackers 2, Touken an Ranbu, Fate/Grand Order and many more in other mediums.
Miwa Shirow is also a member of the Japanese music unit supercell, where he creates the unit’s illustrations, as well as the logo design, to even the outfit design and more.
There will be a live drawing session and mini exhibition, including Meet & Greet and merchandise sold at AMG2024.
