AniManGaki 2021 set to go online for second year in a row

Malaysia’s favourite community-based animation, comics and games (ACG) convention AniManGaki goes virtual once more for 2021. Last year’s edition was also held online.

The free virtual event starts Aug 6 – 22, 2021.

AniManGaki (AMG) founder Yvonne Sing said due to the social distancing norm and nationwide lockdown related to the Covid-19 pandemic, the AniManGaki 2021 will be offered only through virtual format to keep everyone safe online.

“An online convention works because it provides a different kind of experience and is safer for all who is involved. Also, we just want to spread some positivity during these hard times,” she said.

Contents will be done via live-streaming and videos on YouTube, Facebook and some on Twitch.
