A vibrant red “WooHu!” Chinese New Year at the Curve

The Curve Centre Court celebrates Chinese New Year with magnificent red lanterns and pink blossoms.

The Curve shopping mall at Mutiara Damansara, Petaling Jaya is ushering in the Chinese New Year of the Tiger with “WooHu!” with a line-up of performances and activities for the enjoyment of adults and children alike.

From Jan 8 to Feb 6, 2022, the Curve’s Centre Court is transformed into a vibrant festive scene dominated by bold hues of red as a symbol of good fortune to mark the start of the Year of the Tiger.

Simply themed “WooHu!” as an expression of joy, excitement and cheery celebration, with Hu in Mandarin meaning tiger, the decorations at the Centre Court reflect the celebratory mood with magnificent crimson lanterns and pretty pink cherry blossom trees.

A giant red masthead with “WooHu!” takes centre-stage to welcome patrons to the Curve.

Boustead Properties Bhd property management and investment senior general manager Jazmi Kamarudin said living in a multicultural country allows Malaysians to truly immerse themselves in the festive occasion of each race.

“We are happy to welcome Chinese New Year at the Curve with this wonderful sea of red to symbolize happiness and good fortune for our patrons and their loved ones, and we hope everyone has a chance to make memorable memories as they start the new lunar year,” he said.
