KPJ Healthcare celebrates Hari Raya Aidilfitri with 145 asnaf children from Asrama Kompleks Darul Kifayah MAIWP.

Embracing the Syawal spirit of togetherness and inclusivity, KPJ Healthcare Berhad played host to 145 asnaf children from Asrama Kompleks Darul Kifayah MAIWP at a Hari Raya Aidilfitri Open House celebrations recently.

The children aged between 11 to 17 were among the special guests treated to a variety Raya dishes, and as part of the Raya festivities, duit rayawas also presented to the children.

The event was the first Aidilfitri open house in two years hosted by KPJ Healthcare chairman Datuk Md Arif Mahmood and president and managing director Dato’ Mohd Shukrie Mohd Salleh at Sime Darby Convention Centre, Kuala Lumpur.

Since its establishment in 1998, Klinik Waqaf An-Nur has grown to a total of 24 clinics, including seven mobile clinics, nationwide, with the aim to provide affordable and high-quality healthcare to low-income groups and communities. Through its chain of charity outpatient clinics and dialysis centres, Klinik Waqaf An-Nur has served a total of 1.9 million patients to date.

Kompleks Darul Kifayah is a temporary accommodation centre under the auspices of the Federal Territory Islamic Religious Council or Majlis Agama Islam Wilayah Persekutuan (MAIWP), which provides educational facilities and hostels to orphans and children of poor families in the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur.
