Universal Music Malaysia (UM) presents Mr. World Malaysia 2022 to unearth new talents and diversify its talent management portfolio under Celebrity360, a talent arm under the company.
Carrying the theme “Men with Dimensions”, the search for Malaysia’s most desirable man – Mr World Malaysia 2022 has started.
It will kickstart with an audition to take place on May 15, 2022 at UM’s headquarter office in Petaling Jaya.
A shortlisted group of candidates will be revealed at a press event in June.
Prelude to the final gala event expected to take place in August, the candidates will go through various round of preliminary activities such as physical challenge, fashion and beauty regime, as well as a culinary course to showcase the embracement of modern masculinity.
UM is also extending an invitation to Malaysian fashion designers to participate in the national costume showcase where the winning designer will have the chance to have the costume worn at the world finals of Mr. World 2022 which is expected to take place in the United Kingdom later this year.
The winner of Mr World Malaysia 2022 will earn the right to represent the country at the prestigious international event organized by the Miss World Organization, and stand a chance to win cash prizes and the opportunity to be signed as a talent with Celebrity360.
The individuals who wish to participate in the Mr. World Malaysia must fulfil the following eligibility requirements:
1. Single Malaysian male
2. Age 18 to 35 years as of Jan 1, 2022
3. Minimum height 170cm and above.
4. Exudes the charm and personality of a true Malaysian man
