Tropicana Santapan 29 Malam buffet returns offering over 200 dishes, 20 live stalls

Tropicana Golf & Country Resort (TGCR), a subsidiary of Tropicana Corp Bhd, has brought back its popular Santapan 29 Malam dinner buffet for the Ramadhan festive season.

Speaking at a media preview of the dinner buffet, Tropicana’s senior general manager for TGCR and project Allan Wong elaborated on the concept and craft of the epicurean affair, marking the month of Ramadhan in tandem with the transition of Malaysia to a new normal, through an elaborate assortment of signature delicacies designed to delight every palate.

“Tropicana Golf & Country Resort is a very special place for all of us, where we launched our very first flagship resort and where we began our journey of Redefining the Art of Living in all we do. It is with this in mind that we invite everyone to break your fast with us here in our home, as we observe the month of Ramadhan and move forward as a nation towards a new normal,” he said.

Wong said Santapan 29 Malam offered a gastronomic getaway for friends and family to reconnect and rejoice over buka puasa in kampung-style dining experience held at the Palm Coffee House, located in the main wing of the resort’s clubhouse.

“Diners and guests can explore and experience local and international dishes, from the spectacle of our lively roasts and grill section, to the irresistible confections of our pastry corner,” he said.

Santapan 29 Malam features more than 20 stalls serving up the sumptuous buka puasa spread of over 200 dishes such as chicken bukhari rice, grilled tilapia and ikan patin prepared with tempoyak, a savoury twist on durian.

Other fares include fish head curry, bubur lambuk, sup gearbox and crispy apam balik, served with rose syrup and cooling basil seed, as well as seasonal delights such as ayam rendang, lemang and ketupat.

For more exotic cuisine, there is the Thai corner offering a variety of items from Yam Neua beef salad and Tom Yum Gai to Som Tam Thai.

The Santapan 29 Malam buffet dinner is priced at RM128 nett per person for members and RM148 for non-members, available from April 3 to May 2, 2022.
