Antabax, Malaysia’s anti-bacterial personal care brand, introduces its #imBAXinAction campaign, short for “I am Back In Action” which aims to rally the nation to come back together stronger in the new normal.
Personal hygiene is now more important during a pandemic by washing hands often to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
“Before the pandemic, Antabax has been actively working with Ministry of Health and private education institutions to educate the public on the importance of hand hygiene through various campaigns such as “Tangan Bersih, Hidup Sihat”, revealed Antabax senior product manager Fiona Huang.
“When the Covid-19 became a pandemic, hand hygiene becomes more important than ever. We have seen rising demand of hand washing and hand sanitizing products over the past one and a half years”, added Huang.
The #imBAXinAction campaign will see a series of activations to provide Malaysians the confidence and protection to get back in action under the new normal, by abiding to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) as outlined by the authorities.
The campaign will feature Malaysia’s home-grown hijab rapper, Noor Ayu Fatini, better known as Bunga, with her interactive engagement through arts and music, educating the public on the importance of practising the SOPs.
The campaign will also support the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme through the distribution of Antabax Hand Sanitizer Sprays to the public after their vaccinations.
The brand will be collaborating with private healthcare services provider KPJ Healthcare Berhad in supporting this initiative.
The distribution which began from June 23, 2021 onwards will take place at four of the group’s specialist hospitals, namely KPJ Tawakkal KL, KPJ Selangor, KPJ Ampang Puteri and KPJ Damansara.
Similarly, the hand sanitizer spray will also be made available at Sunway Putra Mall for the public who receive their vaccination at the nearby World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur.
In addition, the brand will also organize a host of social media contests rewarding fans with Shopee vouchers throughout the campaign period.

#imBAXinAction -Tips to Keep Yourself Protected
- Wash hands frequently – with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or use hand sanitizer.
- Wear a mask – that fits snugly over the face, covering your nose, mouth as well as chin with the coloured side of the mask to face outside.
- Get vaccinated – to reduce the risk of being infected.
- Practice social distancing – maintain at least 1-metre distance between yourself and others.
