Legoland Malaysia Resort, a theme park located in Iskandar Puteri, Johor, has just unveiled some of its biggest, boldest upgrades yet and it’s shaping up to be the ultimate family destination of the year.
From cutting-edge Lego builds to refreshed zones and festive seasonal activities, the resort has rolled out some of its most impressive updates yet. Whether you’re planning a family holiday, are a lifelong Lego fan or simply love creative attractions, here’s why Legoland Malaysia stands out this year.
1. Asia’s first Lego Ferrari Build & Race

The brand-new Lego Ferrari Build & Race lets visitors step into the world of Ferrari like never before. Snap photos inside the world’s first life-sized Lego Ferrari F50, then build and test your own Lego Ferrari before racing it across interactive tracks. Cap off the experience in the Virtual Race Zone, where your digital Lego Ferrari comes to life on a virtual circuit featuring different weather conditions. Younger guests can also join the racing action at the Duplo build area.
2. Celebrate the season with new Lego Holiday Tree and brick-tacular festivities

This year’s Brick-tacular Holidays features a dazzling new Lego Holiday Tree, built from more than 315,583 bricks and over 1,800 hours. The tree anchors the “Once Upon a Christmas” celebration as the Park transforms into a festive storybook world filled with twinkling lights, live holiday shows, character meet-and-greets, creative workshops and hands-on build activities.
3. Explore the Underwater World at Sea Life Malaysia

Dive deep into adventure at Sea Life Malaysia, the country’s first interactive, Lego-themed aquarium. Wander through 11 immersive zones, from glowing jellyfish to colourful coral reefs and the iconic Ocean Tunnel. This season, Sea Life transforms for “Merry Fish-mas”, adding festive décor, activities and underwater holiday moments that bring a touch of Christmas magic to the marine world.
4. Beat the Heat at Legoland Water Park

Cool off at the Water Park with thrilling slides, the Build-A-Raft River and family favourites like the wave pool and Duplo Splash Safari. It’s the perfect way to escape Malaysia’s heat and add a splash of extra fun to your day.
5. Explore Asia in miniature at Miniland

Miniland remains a fan favourite, with over 30 million Lego bricks bringing Asia’s iconic landmarks to life – from the Petronas Twin Towers to the Taj Mahal. The newly reimagined Miniland Singapore adds fresh interactive elements including a four meter-tall Marina Bay Sands centrepiece, a Merlion Fountain that shoots water and the hilarious One-Table-Left Race. Don’t miss the vibrant Lego Flower Garden, where beautifully crafted Lego blooms and photo spots create a whimsical escape.
6. Thrilling rides for every age

Legoland Malaysia offers adventures for all ages, from Driving School and Lego Ninjago The Ride (Asia’s most advanced 4D interactive ride) to adrenaline-pumping favourites like The Dragon roller coaster and The Great Lego Race, the world’s first Lego virtual reality coaster. Families can also enjoy themed playgrounds, Lego building stations and more 4D shows at the Lego Studio.
7. Stay in awesome themed hotel rooms full of Lego surprises

Extend the adventure with a stay at the Legoland Hotel. Choose from themed rooms including Ninjago, Adventure, Kingdom, Pirate and Friends – each packed with Lego surprises, treasure hunts (with a Lego prize) and kid-friendly bunk beds. With Lego pits, disco elevators and imaginative décor, the hotel experience is an attraction all on its own.
8. Totally family-friendly (and baby-friendly too)
Legoland Malaysia is designed with families in mind, offering baby care rooms, stroller rentals, shaded rest stops, kids’ menus and family dining areas. Whether you’re visiting with toddlers or teens, the resort makes every part of the journey easy, comfortable and fun.
