Sime Darby Property Berhad conducted the soft opening of its new Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club (KLGCC) Mall on October 24, 2025 with 90% occupancy.
Located within the 360-acre KLGCC Resort, the mall consists of five levels of 240,000 sq. ft. retail space, serving a population of more than 300,000 residents in the surrounding neighbourhoods
“KLGCC Mall represents Sime Darby Property’s approach to growing our recurring income base through quality, community-focused assets. With 90% of retail space committed, the mall reflects the confidence our tenants place in our ability to deliver well-curated, community-centric retail and create lasting value in today’s evolving marketplace,” said Sime Darby Property group managing director and chief executive officer Dato’ Seri Azmir Merican in a press statement.
He added, “As a purpose-driven real estate company, our focus goes beyond bricks and mortar. Through KLGCC Mall, we aim to create a welcoming space that brings people together – where commerce, culture, and community intersect.”
The key tenants unveiled include Jaya Grocer Signature, Serai Group’s “The Grounds of Serai” and Serai Hall, ACE Hardware, Asia Ballet Academy, and the first HarborLand kids playland in Malaysia.
KLGCC Mall will be a launchpad for several first-in-Malaysia brands, including Coast & Roast by Fish & Co., Fiel Charcoal Grillhouse by Kay’s Steak & Lobster, Jeju-inspired salon Goyo, Dara Gogi, Ristorante Al Pacino and Kuih & Kopi, Eden Social Club and Seiko Vision.
The mall also features culinary favourites such as Siti Li Dining & Foodhall, Pasta Zanmai and The Third Serving (previously known as Oriental Cravings), while entertainment and lifestyle brands include Toys’ R Us and VR Live.
KLGCC Mall is the third addition to Sime Darby Property’s growing retail portfolio, joining the ranks of the highly successful Elmina Lakeside Mall and KL East Mall, both of which have reached full leasing capacity.
The mall is accessible via the Sprint Highway, Damansara–Puchong Expressway (LDP), Federal Highway and New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE).
