The Puma Nitro Night Run 2025 took place in Putrajaya on Sept 13, 2025 with over 13,000 runners taking part.
Participants challenged themselves across three race categories, including 5km, 10km, and 21km half-marathon, each distance offering runners the opportunity to test their limits under the atmosphere of night running against the backdrop of Malaysia’s iconic city.

Puma Malaysia country manager Steven Tan said the exceptional turnout at the Puma Nitro Night Run 2025 demonstrated the growing appetite among Malaysian runners for challenging, performance-focused events.
“With over 13,000 runners pushing themselves to achieve personal records and breakthrough performances, we’ve witnessed the power of sport to drive individual excellence while fostering a spirit of community,” he said.

This year’s race attracted athletes from across Southeast Asia bringing elite-level competition to Malaysia’s biggest night run.
“We’re absolutely thrilled that the Puma Nitro Night Run 2025 has resonated with so many runners across the region, and we intend to continue this event to serve as the ultimate testing ground for serious runners across the region,” Tan added.

At the Puma Nitro Zone, runners got to experience the innovation behind the Puma Nitro collection, test shoes on the spot and get expert guidance to match their stride.

As Malaysia’s running culture continues to flourish, Puma remains dedicated to nurturing this growth by providing meaningful platforms where athletes of all levels can pursue their goals, connect with fellow runners, and experience the positive impact of sport in their lives.
