Signify Malaysia has unveiled its latest TV entertainment lighting range from its WiZ brand, introducing the WiZ HDMI Sync Box with TV Backlight, Gradient Light Bar and Gradient Floor Light, at Archidex 2025 @ KLCC, July 23-26.
These smart, plug-and-play solutions are designed to enhance TV, gaming and music experiences by syncing lighting effects in real time with on-screen content and audio.
The WiZ HDMI Sync Box with TV Backlight reads signals directly from the video source, producing ultra-accurate colour effects for an immersive home entertainment atmosphere.
The launch highlights WiZ’s commitment to bringing intuitive and energy-efficient smart lighting into Malaysian homes, supporting evolving lifestyle needs with technologies that connect seamlessly.
The WiZ HDMI Sync Box with TV Backlight has also been nominated with the Archidex Star Award 2025 for the product’s innovative ability in transforming everyday viewing into a dynamic, visually immersive experience, using dynamic lighting that reacts in real time to on-screen visuals and audio.
The new WiZ HDMI Sync Box with TV backlight, offering users an easy and affordable way to sync lights to their home entertainment content, elevating movie nights, sports viewing and gaming experiences.
Complementing the WiZ HDMI Sync Box with TV Backlight are two new gradient lighting products, the WiZ Gradient Light Bar and WiZ Gradient Floor Light, which enhances the experience by matching on-screen colours in real time based on their placement and settings via the WiZ app.

The WiZ HDMI Sync Box with TV Backlight is all that the users need for bringing their screens to life. By simply connecting the Sync box to a HDMI media device such as streaming stick, set-top box, and gaming console, and attaching the LED strip to the back of their TV, users can sync the lights with the colors and brightness of the TV screen.
It supports HDMI 2.0 and video formats up to 4K at 60Hz with HDR10+/Dolby Vision. The HDMISync box reads the video signal directly from the HDMI input, instantly analyzes the entire screen, and generates ultra-accurate colors on the lights.
Featuring a 3-side segmented RGBIC light strip for easy mounting on the back of TV, the HDMI sync box offers two different sizes, fitting TV’s from 55” to 65”, and from 75” to 85”.
With the 4 preset sync modes – Cinematic, Vibrant, Relaxation, Rhythmic and customizable brightness, color saturation and intensity, users can set lights to closely follow all the colors with drastic brightness change or to gradually transition while matching colors to the dominant hue on the screen.
The WiZ HDMI Sync Box with TV Backlight works with any WiZ color-capable light that supports both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Users can link as many lights to the Sync Box, as long as it is connected to the same Wi-Fi network, and sync it with the TV simultaneously.
The WiZ HDMI Sync Box with TV Backlight also has a built-in microphone that can capture audio playing from any source and make lights change colors and brightness with the music. Simply control the lights via WiZ app, voice (with Google or Alexa) or the WiZ remote control.
Users can also set the auto-switching feature in the app so their TV sync lights will turn on and start syncing automatically whenever the HDMI media source provides a signal.
The WiZ Gradient Light Bar creates captivating lighting in any space. Each light bar can be controlled individually and features a multicolor segment design that displays multiple colors simultaneously, creating beautiful wall-washing effects.
The Gradient Light Bar comes with various mounting brackets, allowing placement horizontally or vertically on counters or desks, or fixed behind TVs and monitors.
The WiZ Gradient Floor Light offers a multicolor segment design and wide beam angle, illuminating any room with stunning wall-washing effects. Its slim, minimalistic design fits effortlessly into any corner, complementing various interiors. Featuring a one-piece design for seamless plug-and-play functionality, and no assembly required.
Both the WiZ Gradient Light Bar and the WiZ Gradient Floor Light deliver an engaging atmosphere by syncing colors with video (WiZ HDMI Sync box with TV Backlight required) and with music. With 16 million colors and ready-to-use preset modes like Party, Fireplace and Ocean, users can set the perfect mood for any occasion.
The Gradient Light Bar and the Gradient Floor Light are Matter compatible so they can also be controlled with Alexa, Google Home and Apple HomeKit.
