
The 36th Malaysia International Machinery Fair (MIMF) 2025 is set to take place from July 10 to 12, 2025 at the Malaysia International Trade & Exhibition Centre (Mitec) in Kuala Lumpur.
Organized by ES International Event Management Sdn Bhd, the event is a premier platform for showcasing the latest technologies and innovations in the machinery industry, particularly in areas like smart manufacturing, food processing and packaging.
The fair will feature Industry 5.0 technologies, smart manufacturing solutions, food processing equipment, packaging innovations and automation technologies.
MIMF 2025 is expected to host over 700 booths with 450 participating companies from both local and international markets, including exhibitors from China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia, India, Germany and Italy.
It is anticipated to draw more than 100,000 visitors over its three-day duration.
The event is endorsed by the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (Matrade) and supported by Malaysia Promas International Business Society (Promas).

Promas president Dato’ Chong Chong Tik said MIMF has grown beyond just a typical trade exhibition to become a vital platform for advancing industrial programs and fostering, especially among small and medium-sized enterprises (SME).
“This is not just a product showcase, but also a critical platform for upstream and downstream sectors across industries to connect, exchange ideas and establish long-term cooperation.
“Through the international platform of MIMF 2025, we aim to further drive the growth of Malaysia’s SMEs, while strengthening technical exchange and trade cooperation between Malaysia and China, as well as the broader ASEAN region,” he said.
“We hope that, with our collective efforts, Malaysia can become a more influential exporter of branded industrial products in Asia,” he added.

DPUM president Dato’ Seri Abu Hassan Mohd Nor highlighted that the fair serves as a distinctive platform for Malaysian entrepreneurs to enhance their visibility on the international stage and establish valuable partnerships.
“The expected 100,000 visitors to the fair underscores its growing significance to the local economy as this influx of visitors is likely to boost local businesses, demonstrating the fair’s positive economic impact,” he said.

Promas honorable life president Lady Puan Sri Dr Susah S C Cheah said MIMF has evolved beyond a trade exhibition into a vital conduit for business matching, technology exchange and international market expansion.
“This year’s edition of MIMF is particularly significant as we further expand our global footprint and deepen our focus on high-tech innovation. MIMF2025 will feature three major core exhibition zones:
Plastics & Mould
Designed to significantly modernize and improve the plastic and mold sectors, exhibits in this zone will cover a wide range of injection molding machines, blow molding machines, moulds M, equipment, smart manufacturing solutions and raw materials.
Food Processing, Packaging & Bakery Equipment
This zone will present advanced food processing machines, smart packaging equipment and automated baking systems, offering significant benefits in terms of increased efficiency, enhanced safety and improved sustainability.
Smart Technology & LED Signage
This zone on focuses on Industry 5.0 and its intersection with smart manufacturing and technological innovation. Exhibits will cover industrial automation systems, AI control platforms, robotics, drone technology, smart healthcare systems, industrial visual inspection and LED lighting solutions.
