The stage is set for a spectacle as Kuala Lumpur welcomes 32 contestants from across the globe competing for the Miss CosmoWorld 2024 pageant.
The impressive lineup of contestants, each bringing a unique heritage, story and aspiration to the stage, were presented during a press conference held at Hyatt Place Kuala Lumpur, Bukit Jalil on Nov 14, 2024.
The contestants strutted into the spotlight one by one, each taking turns to introduce themselves on stage.
Also announced were the official schedule of all the upcoming events and activities leading to the grand finale.
The pageant week promises excitement, culminating in the grand finale at The St. Regis Hotel Kuala Lumpur on Nov 20, 2024.
The Malaysia home-grown international pageant continues to raise the bar in promoting beauty, talent and cultural diversity on a global scale with contestants from 32 countries and territories, including Austria, China, Finland, Philippines, Switzerland, Thailand, Vietnam, Japan, Mongolia, Iceland, Kazakhstan, Portugal, Hong Kong and Belarus.
Contestants are set to vie for the prestigious Miss CosmoWorld title and the chance to share approximately RM1 million prize pool, alongside opportunities to engage in charitable causes and personal growth initiatives.
“Miss CosmoWorld is more than just a pageant. It’s a platform for women around the world to share their stories, showcase their talents and work toward common goals of empowerment, charity and cultural connection,” said Miss CosmoWorld founder Carrie Lee at the press conference.
Gracing the occasion was guest of honour Tengku Dato’ Dr. Hishammuddin Zaizi, underscoring the significance of Miss CosmoWorld in fostering international unity and celebrating diverse cultures.
Organizing chairlady Tay Cheah said, “We are excited to bring the international event to Malaysia. With the generous support from partners like Hyatt Place Kuala Lumpur, and with the approximately RM1 million prize, our contestants are set for an unforgettable journey.”
