Marrybrown launches new spicy crispy chicken “Ayam Epik”, konfem pedas

Marrybrown chief executive officer Daniel Chan launched the latest Ayam Epik menu together with Marrybrown mascot Brownnie at Marrybrown Section 18, Shah Alam on Nov 7,2024.

Marrybrown, Malaysia’s largest halal quick service restaurant (QSR) chain operator, has launched its latest menu, the Ayam Epik, a mouthwatering rendition of the beloved spicy crispy chicken inspired by vibrant mamak culture.

Infused with an exclusive unique blend of aromatic herbs and spices, including peppers, curry powder, cumin, coriander, onion and garlic, each mouthful is an explosion of rich, authentic local flavours.

The grand launch was held at Marrybrown outlet in Section 18, Shah Alam on Nov 7, 2024.

The new menu is inspired by the iconic mamak restaurants, Malaysians’ go-to spot for spicy food, bringing a tantalizing spicy crispy chicken recipe that captures the essence of what Malaysians crave for, with each bite offering a satisfying crunch and a flavour-packed coating infused with the fragrant aroma of fresh cereal and spices.

“Crispy chicken is a favourite among young adults, making it one of the most popular fast-food choices here, and we are confident the launch of this new menu will undoubtedly excite tastebuds across the nation.

Available for a limited time only, chicken enthusiasts can enjoy Marrybrown Ayam Epik in various options from November 11 onwards.

2-pc Ayam Epik Combo

The menu features a variety of options, such as the spicy bold flavours of the 2-pc Ayam Epik Combo from only RM17.50, featuring two pieces of mouthwatering spicy chicken served creamy mashed potatoes, accompanied by a refreshing Fuze ice lemon tea. Taking ‘konfem pedas’ to the next level.

Nasi Kari Ayam Epik Combo

There is also the Nasi Kari Ayam Epik Combo from only RM15.90 – a serving of fluffy, aromatic rice cooked in curry enriched with the flavours of cumin, coriander, onion and garlic, together with the crunch of papadam, tangy acar, hard-boiled egg and 1-piece Ayam Epik.

Ayam Epik Box Meal

The Ayam Epik Box Meal from only RM19.90 comes with one piece of crispy chicken, a juicy chicken burger, piping hot mashed potatoes and Fuze ice lemon tea.

Customers can enjoy Ayam Epik on their own with the 3-piece, 5-piece and 8-piece sets, priced at RM22.90, RM35.50 and RM56.80 respectively.
