Pos Malaysia introduces Pos Raudhah subscription package

Pos Malaysia Berhad has introduced Pos Raudhah, a subscription package providing coverage for 24-hour funeral management or cash assistance.

The postal and parcel service provider said the subscription package, in collaboration with Bumijez Sdn Bhd, is aimed at providing help and financial support to ease the burden of bereaved families faced with funeral management upon the demise of their loved ones.

Pos Malaysia Berhad group chief executive officer Charles Brewer said the introduction of Pos Raudhah reinforces its commitment to delivering comprehensive help and support to community during crisis.  

“Pos Raudhah is not just a business initiative; it reflects our genuine concern for the well-being of the communities we are very much a part of.

With our post offices serving as a community hub that provides a wide range of products and services, our commitment to innovation remains steadfast as we strive to continuously bring value to the rakyat,” he said. 

Pos Raudhah is open to Malaysian citizens between the ages of 1 to 69, including Muslims and non-Muslims, with funeral procedures following the conditions and appropriateness of one’s religion.

There are two affordable packages: Package 80 (RM80 per year) or Package 120 (RM120 per year), which is renewable every year.

This complete funeral assistance subscription package includes advice assistance, documentation assistance, hearse van service, bathing and shrouding the deceased, funeral prayer, burial and talqin reading.

Pos Raudhah also provides Personal Accident Takaful coverage which offers additional funds of up to RM10,000.
