KUALA LUMPUR – The glitz and glamour filled event had a Romance Pink and White theme with over 150 guests who showed up dressed to the theme.
Bmic Nail Spa Salon celebrated the re-launch of its newly redesigned and refurbished outlet relocated from Seventh Heaven to Beauty Hall at Level 7, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur shopping mall on June 21, 2014.
The glitz and glamour filled event had a Romance Pink and White theme with over 150 guests who showed up dressed to the theme.
Present were celebrities, beauty queens, fashion designers, models and socialites including Carey Ng (Miss Universe Malaysia 2013), Carrie Lee Sze Kei (Miss Chinese Cosmos 2004 international winner), Tung Mei Chin (Miss Universe Malaysia 2001), June Yappie Shan (Miss Malaysia Tourism Queen International 2006 first runner-up and MuseModel founder) and Keith Kee (Malaysia’s top haute designer)
The VIPs were treated to nail art catwalk show and song performance by local singer Ellisan.
Some lucky guests went home with prizes for best dressed and lucky draws.
Bmic Secret of Beauty Sdn Bhd founder and owner Michelle Hee told Citizen Journalists Malaysia (CJMY) that she was very happy and excited about the new place because the relocated and refurbished outlet offered unique designs centred on a garden field concept with opportunities for reaching a bigger customer base.
The Pavilion outlet is the company’s third branch opened two years ago. Its two other outlets are in Starhill Gallery and Fahrenheit 88.
“As you can see, the main décor is green and red together, from the shop-front with lots of artificial green grass and green wallpaper to the red flooring taking the feeling of nature look. Red represents flower and green is the colour of foliage and leaf in a garden field.
“We want customers to feel fresh and new when they step into our outlet, after a hectic and stressful day, and feel like they are going into a garden and very relaxing,” said Hee.
The outlet with fresh appearance is a brand new haven for those who want to get their nails spiffed up. Services available include manicure, pedicure, nail art design and eyelash extension. It’s wide selection of premium nail care products in OPI, Essie, Nubar, Inglot, ProGel and LCN means customers can always find one they desire.
“We take a lot of pride to keep our customers happy and enjoy our services so that their nails look and feel good,” Hee said.
The beauty and nail entrepreneur started her business from a rented shoplot in a hotel in the city in 2006. A year later she shifted to bigger premises at Starhill Gallery and in 2010 she opened a second outlet called BeeBee Nail at Fahrenheit 88 catering to the young urban set. The third outlet in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur was opened in 2012.
On the company’s future plan, Hee said she will be opening a nail academy soon to train students to become professional nail artists.
“Bmic is growing and expanding its vision. We are actually in the midst of setting up our nail academy. We have already identified the location around the Imbi area and will make an announcement when the academy is ready to open its doors in about six months time,” she said.
