UMW Toyota Motor announced that it will launch the all-new 4th generation Toyota Vios with new exterior and interior designs, incorporating new technology and features to make driving more enjoyable.
The new sedan enhanced with improved performance and quicker acceleration is now open for booking beginning Feb 24, 2023 at all authorized Toyota showrooms nationwide.
“The all-new Toyota Vios is all set to take centrestage as the car is definitely of top-notch quality at a competitive price that will certainly exceed customer expectations,” said UMW Toyota Motor president Datuk Ravindran K.
Adopting new design language, the new generation model features a fastback silhouette. Its long-nose, rear-biased cabin and lowered body shouts sportiness that comes with this luxury sedan.
The proven 1.5-litre DOHC Dual VVT-i engine has been improved to deliver stronger performance while a new 7-speed CVT with Sequential Shiftmatic gives quicker acceleration as well as enhances fuel efficiency.
New features such as paddle shifters and electronic parking brake add convenience to motoring.
The new Vios now exudes a premium experience with more soft-touch materials throughout the entire cabin.
Another feature is the Toyota Safety Sense (TSS) system which alerts the driver of dangers and also acts autonomously to prevent or avoid a collision.
The all-new Toyota Vios comes in two variants – 1.5 G (AT) advanced and 1.5 E (AT) – in five colour options with Spicy Scarlet being a new choice.
UMW Toyota Motor will reveal more detailed specifications after the launch.
