“Sah Malaysia!” campaign showcases the most ‘viral’ Mi Maggi creations

The Maggi Sah Malaysia! campaign culminated in the creative Maggi recipe challenge grand finale and ground fiesta celebration held at Malaysia Tourism Centre (MaTiC), Kuala Lumpur on Oct 26, 2022.

Eight finalists consisting of food operators in the ResipiKu KreaktifKu online challenge vied for total cash prizes of RM10,000 while 12 consumer finalists of ResipiKu DuniaKu challenge went through a “live” cook-off session to compete for three Grand Prizes of cash RM5,000 each. 

The top 3 winners of the grand finale of the ResipiKu KreaktifKu challenge and ResipiKu DuniaKu challenge were selected for their most ‘viral’ Mi Maggi recipe creations.

Nestle (Malaysia) Bhd chief executive officer Juan Aranols said the Maggi Sah Malaysia! campaign celebrates the richness and heritage of Maggi creations from home to food outlets.

“Maggi Sah Malaysia!, into its third year, aims to bring out the best of Malaysian food culture of eating together and connecting with one another at the local eateries with their favourite Maggi dish.

“Many food operators were hard hit during the Covid-19 pandemic, but now with more Malaysians eating out and socializing again as normalcy has resumed, this campaign aims to celebrate their unique and viral Mi MAGGI creations,” he said.

Twelve local warungs eateries nationwide were also presented with a plaque each in recognition of their Malaysian-endorsed signature Maggi dish. Their viral recipes stay inspired and went on to inspire other food operators to submit their own creative Maggi recipes through the ResipiKu KreaktifKu online challenge.

At the event, honorary plaques were also accorded to the Persatuan Pengusaha Restoran Muslim Malaysia (PRESMA) and Persatuan Pengusaha Restoran India, Malaysia (PRIMAS) in recognition of their contributions and efforts in regulating and revitalising the food operators’ businesses in Malaysia in the new normal, and for their long-standing support for Maggi by their members comprising over 4,500 and 1,500 vendors in PRESMA and PRIMAS, respectively.
