KamiSempoi International Agency (KSIA), an official strategic business partner of TikTok Malaysia, has announced the KamiSempoi TikTok Live Awards 2022 and Supercar Show at a press conference held at Maraz Hall in Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur on September 27, 2022.
The KamiSempoi TikTok Live Awards 2022 and Supercar Show will be held from 2.45pm to 7pm at Sepang International Circuit at the North Pit on September 30, 2022.
The KamiSempoi TikTok Live Awards 2022 is the very first award in Malaysia to honour and celebrate the top TikTok live streaming hosts in the country.
The Awards will be presented in three categories of hosts – Rising Stars, Top Gold Hosts and Platinum Hosts.
“We have introduced the very first TikTok Live Awards to be held in Malaysia. The awards ceremony will see close to 600 TikTok Live hosts vying for top honours and recognition for their efforts,” said KSIA founder To Chin Swee, popularly known as PakCik Chin Swee in social circle, at the press conference.
He continued, ““Many KSIA official TikTok Live hosts have used the platform to create shining new careers for themselves in this field. KSIA provides focused training to ensure that each of our official hosts is more skilled and confident in developing and chasing their aspirations.”
“KSIA is the perfect partner to get adequate training and additional knowledge while improving their wealth generation opportunities through the various workshops that we organize. We want to teach them how to be professional live streamers that can generate regular income,” added Pakcik Chin Swee.
Also present at the event were KSAI management executive Shukri Suhaimi, Bojio Event representative CS Ooi, actor and rising Tik Tok Live host Riezman Khuzaimi, as well as several TikTok Live hosts, sponsors, collaboration partners and members of the media.
Shukri Suhaimi said there are more than 22 million TikTok users from Malaysia with more than one billion users worldwide.
“Fourteen of our KSIA TikTok Live hosts are already earning above RM20,000 per month. Baby Lynda, one of our more successful hosts, has managed to earn up to RM100,000 per month,” he said.
A Supercar Show organized in collaboration with Bojio Event will also be held in conjunction with the awards ceremony. It will feature exotic supercars with many celebrities in attendance, including Erra Fazira, Datuk Seri Eizlan Yusof and Riezman Khuzaimi.
Others who will also be attending are professional motorsports athlete Leona Chin, top Chinese host Adelyn, Tik Tok Malaysia Icon Baby Lynda, Boss James (TT OE 3.3M followers), Dato’ Lucas (TT OE 907.1K followers) and Dawn (TT OE 473.9K followers).
There will also be a virtual racing tournament which features a full motion racing simulator with participation of 64 pre-selected TikTok Live hosts going head-to-head to see who could do it best.
“Participants of the tournament will have the chance to experience first-hand how it feels to race in Sepang International Circuit on the motion racing simulator. You will be able to feel every corner, acceleration and also the breaking point,” said CS Ooi, who will be the racing coordinator at the tournament.
The top three winners of the virtual racing tournament will receive prizes, and the prizes on the line are: Champion: LG OLED Flex TV; Second place winner: vivo V25 smartphone; Third place winner: Logitech Z906 THX speaker system.
The KamiSempoi TikTok Live Awards 2022 ceremony which begins at 3.00 pm will take place behind closed doors for invited guests only, while the Supercar Show segment is open to the public with admission ticket priced at RM10 per entry, available at the venue.
