MR. DIY receives Frost & Sullivan’s 2022 Company of the Year award for the second year in a row

MR. DIY was accorded the 2022 Company of the Year – Frost & Sullivan’s Best Practices Award in Malaysia Home Improvement Retail Industry.

MR. DIY has been named Malaysia Home Improvement Retail Company of the Year Award at the Frost & Sullivan’s Best Practices Award 2022, for the second year in a row.

Last year, for the very first time, the home improvement company was awarded the Company of the Year Award. In 2020, it received the Market Leadership Award.

The research and consulting firm Frost & Sullivan takes a meticulous and stringent approach when selecting the nominees in each award category, making a detailed evaluation across two key dimensions – visionary innovation and performance, and customer impact.

The award is a recognition of the company’s visionary innovation, market-leading performance and unmatched customer care through best practices.

MR D.I.Y. Group marketing head Alex Goh.

“We are proud to be accorded the Frost & Sullivan Awards for three consecutive years. This is indeed a great recognition of the work that we do every day, and it also demonstrates that we continue to stay relevant to Malaysians with our promise of “Always Low Prices”.

“We wouldn’t have been able to achieve this award without the passion, commitment and loyalty of our 13,000 employees nationwide, as well as the trust and confidence of our business partners, suppliers and friends.  This award goes out to them,” said MR D.I.Y. Group marketing head Alex Goh.

“This month, as we celebrate Malaysia’s 65th Merdeka, we also celebrate the opening of our 1,000th store. We have come a long way since we opened our first store in 2005.  We commit to creating innovative retail experiences that capture the imagination of Malaysians, to always deliver value, and to serve our communities so that we positively impact lives,” added Goh.

Over its 17-year history, MR. DIY has received a number of awards and accolades, including being inducted into the FTSE4Good Index, being recognized as Malaysia’s Brand of the Year for four consecutive years, being listed in the Deloitte Malaysia Best Managed Companies Awards 2021 and the Putra Brand Awards – Gold Award 2021 in Retail Category.
