Subang Jaya Medical Centre (SJMC) has been awarded six awards in recognition of its steadfast pursuit of excellence in healthcare at the Global Health Asia-Pacific Healthcare and Hospital Awards (GHAPAC) 2022.
This includes the coveted “Stand-Out Jury Award Hospital of the Year”.
The hospital’s innovative approach to multi-disciplinary patient treatment and leading diagnostics also earned SJMC five other awards. It bagged the Oncology (Radiation) Service Provider of the Year for the fourth year in a row and Advanced Genetic Service Provider of the Year as well as Robotic Rehabilitation Service Provider of the Year for the second year running.
Additionally, the hospital, which celebrates its 37th anniversary this year, received two new awards, namely, Orthopedic Service Provider of the Year and Paediatric Oncology Service Provider of the Year.
SJMC chief executive officer Bryan Lin said winning these awards is a testament to the unwavering dedication and team effort of the hospital’s medical professionals and support staff in providing exemplary healthcare services.
“These individuals coupled with our commitment to innovation and medical advancements have placed SJMC where it is today on the regional healthcare map.
“We will ensure that high standards in patient care, medical outcomes and continuous innovation continue to be the driving force in our journey forward,” he said.
The Awards recognize the best healthcare providers in the Asia Pacific region, and serve as a benchmark for healthcare providers to maintain high industry standards. The event also provides a platform for experts to exchange their views on the healthcare industry.
Subang Jaya Medical Centre (SJMC) is the flagship hospital of Ramsay Sime Darby Health Care (RSDH), a joint venture between Ramsay Health Care, Australia and Sime Darby, Malaysia. RSDH has four hospitals in Malaysia. Apart from SJMC, it also has Ara Damansara Medical Centre, ParkCity Medical Centre and Bukit Tinggi Medical Centre.
