168 Park Mall, Selayang celebrated a dual milestone with the launch of its 2026 Chinese New Year (CNY) celebration marking the arrival of the Year of the Horse, alongside its “Rasa One-derful” first anniversary grand draw.
The event on Jan 24, 2026, brought together the community to witness the official opening ceremony led by 168 Park Mall chief executive officer Edward Lum.
The mall has been transformed into a cinematic, retro-themed landscape, offering shoppers immersive photo opportunities and engagement activities.
Lum performed a launch gimmick, striking ceremonial drums that triggered a spectacular stage lighting display, followed by a high-octane 20-minute lion dance performance.
A highlight of the launch featured a guest appearance by Adam Ng from The Federation of Calligraphy Society Malaysia. Ng took to the stage to promote and highlight the rich tradition of Chunlian (Spring Festival couplets), emphasizing its role in bringing blessings and prosperity to homes.
The association sponsored giveaway of 300 exclusive Chunlian sets, allowing shoppers to take home a piece of authentic Malaysian calligraphy heritage.
Following the launch ceremony, the concourse area quickly transformed into a lively arena for the “Rasa One-derful” 1st anniversary live draw, where top prizes, including an LG 65-inch 4K Smart TV and a Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer were awarded to loyal shoppers.
The mall also announced that 100 additional prizes remain to be claimed, with winners to be announced on the mall’s official social media pages, @168ParkMall.
Beyond the launch event, 168 Park Mall has lined up a series of activities every weekend from now until Feb 25, 2026. Shoppers can immerse themselves in the festive atmosphere while enjoying mall-wide entertainment and special rewards.
Under the tier rewards programme, shoppers who spend a minimum of RM168, RM268 or RM368 can redeem exclusive Angpao designs (available in three random colours) and a “Galloping Horse” collectible bowl set.
Shoppers who locate hidden Gold Bars and Yuanbaos within the mall decor can guess the total number to win actual gold prizes.
