Sixteen finalists have been officially unveiled for the 2024 edition of Miss Malaysia Tourism pageant at a press conference at Berjaya Times Square Hotel, Kuala Lumpur on August 27, 2024.

The 16 finalists will vie for three Miss Tourism Malaysia titles to be crowned in one final night – the coronation night on Sept 4, 2024 at the Grand Ballroom, Berjaya Times Square Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.

The 16 are Wynwie Hilston Lai (Sarawak), Rachel Tung (KL), Yong Ke Ling (Sabah), Aiiswariyaa Mailvaganam (Selangor), Freya Fong (Perak), Felliciti Jeffry (Sarawak), Alysha De Cruz (Pahang), Aereon Wong (Selangor), Stacy Seow (KL), Sheena Devayani (KL), Clara Ng (Selangor), Verlyn Lee (Penang), Mathi Malarchelvi (Penang), Emily Teo (Melaka), Gisselle Ang (KL) and Sarah Monika Sow (Johor).

The three pageant titles are Miss Malaysia Tourism 2024, Miss Malaysia Tourism Queen of the Year 2024 and Miss Malaysia Tourism Metropolitan 2024.

The Miss Malaysia Tourism pageant is jointly organized by D’Touch International Sdn Bhd and MyShoppo Sdn Bhd, and supported by Tourism Malaysia, under the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture.

“This year’s pageant promises to be a vibrant celebration of tourism, culture and friendship, with finalists from across Malaysia coming together to showcase the unique heritage and tourism appeal of their respective states,” said main organizer D’Touch International founder and president Tan Sri Danny Ooi at the press conference.

Ooi said the three three titleholders will carry the pride of the nation as they represent Malaysia on the international stage later this year.

“The winner of Miss Malaysia Tourism 2024, notably, will represent the country at the 27th Miss Tourism International 2024 World Final, scheduled to be held in December this year, with Malaysia hosting the event,” he said.

Over the 12-day event from Aug 24 to Sept 4, the 16 finalists will participate in various activities, including tourism-related events, sponsor showcases and charity visits.

The three Miss Malaysia Tourism titleholders will win prizes in cash and kind worth over RM300,000, including scholarships from Peninsula College for diploma and UK degree programs.

In addition, the 16 finalists will have the opportunity to win eight subsidiary titles sponsored by the pageant’s partners.

In conjunction with the Miss Malaysia Tourism Pageant 2024 grand final, the organizers, in collaboration with Consortium 21, have launched a Special Voting Contest through an online platform.

The public will have the opportunity to vote for the ‘Malaysia Dreamgirl of the Year 2024’ and stand a chance to win two VIP tickets to Andy Lau’s concert and other prizes.
